This is the ‘community garden project’, and basically the exact centre of Vankleek Hill… at least it feels that way. That’s my family reacting with great alarm to a fat, yellow, spikey caterpillar.

This was the first year the garden was planted — my girlfriend had one of the more successful plots. Hopefully this’ll continue because the alternative is a weed filled, abandoned two or three acre plot… toss in some broken concrete and a chip stand and it’s basically Little Hawkesbury back there. And no one needs that.
