Ten Years Of Photos From Christmas Past 2015-2025: Merry ᖁᕕᐊᓲᑎᖃᕐᕕᒃ, Don’t Let The Jólakötturinn Get You, Now Get Ready For The Takanakuy And Make Sure To Remain ยังคงมีความสุข In The New Year

Merry Christmas to you, and Happy Holidays if you don’t partake in the Christ stuff. I am freaking exhausted. I was up until 3am this morning putting gifts into bags and / or wrapping them, getting the Christmas Socks ready, and generally doing the last-minute stuff at the very last minute… as usual.

What wasn’t usual during the Festivities of this particular Season, was my lower leg is entirely wrapped in compress bandages because I’ve been diagnosed with phlebitis [Wiki explanation here] in my right leg. This comes eighteen months after I was diagnosed with deep-vein thrombosis in the same leg [Mayo Clinic explanation here]. Basically I have complications from the many blood clots in my leg and lungs. There is also a great deal of pain involved in the new diagnosis, especially when I lay down… which I kind of have to do in order to sleep.

So, let’s just say sleep has been… ‘elusive’ is a good word for it, over the past 48-hours.

…anyway, enough about me. Somehow Victor, Quintin, and I managed to make it through another Christmas together, and without any jealousy or complaining. Overall, we had a really great time, including a great lunch with their grandparents (my parents), Gilbert, our cat, is currently rustling through the discarded Christmas wrapping paper… which will need to be picked up eventually. But not right now, because I’m going to try and hibernate for the rest of the week. Wish me luck.

So, happy ᖁᕕᐊᓲᑎᖃᕐᕕᒃ [translation here], don’t let the Jólakötturinn [translation here] get you, now get ready for the Takanakuy [translation here] and make sure you ยังคงมีความสุข [translation here] in the New Year, from all of us at VKHPhotos. Which is just me. So, happy happy, joy joy to you.

Okay. Yeah… if you’re into it, these are photos of the three of us celebrating Christmases Past, from when we first moved into our home way back in 2015, until this year. Just click on the first photo to get the carousel going. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them… after a looooooong hiatus from VKHPhotos, it’s great to be productive again.
