I found this flower last fall in the garden kept by the family living next to the McEwen gas station on Highway 34, in Vankleek Hill. Hopefully its genetic material was passed on before it was mutated by the ethanol fumes and bisphenol ‘a’ from the rotting plastic… I guess I should hope the same for the family as well.
