Vroom vrooom: Photos From The 26th Annual Hawkesbury Auto Expo… feat. Quintin T. Great

I was shocked, shocked I tell you, that I managed to convince my youngest son to give up playing Fortnite for an hour, and come to this Festival. When I told him it was all about old and new cool cars, and that they were shutting down an entire street to do show them off, he was actually excited to get in our own cool old 2010 Toyota Corolla and head down to Hawkesbury.

This was the 26th time the ‘Club d’autos Hawkesbury Auto Club’ [link] has put on the Hawkesbury Auto Expo as a fundraiser for the local Food Bank [donate here]. This Expo always draws a large crowd, and this year was no different [link]… although there was a noon-hour downpour that had everyone running for cover — it was a twenty-minute deluge if ever there was one.

I’ve brought my oldest son to this thing twice before, but that was a really long time ago… like, maybe ten-years ago. This was the first time I’ve attended the Car Expo with my camera. I really don’t have a very good excuse for not doing it sooner. I know people have tried to have a Car Expo in Vankleek Hill once or twice… there was one that was part of the pre-pandemic Vankleek Hill May Show. But that was just a few older (but still cool) cars parked on Home Street.

…there’s a video of Big Sugar’s classic “Ride Like Hell” embedded below, if you can’t see it, just click here: [link]. It’s worth it.

…and now, if you’re down with it, just click on a photo to get the carousel going. Vroom vrooom.
