There are very few rules to our Club… we’re cool like that. Basically, when someone joins, they have to share a little bit about themselves — what kind of camera(s) they shoot with, what their favourite kinds of photography are, if they’ve ever taken lessons… just stuff.
We also ask them to send us their favourite photos from their personal portfolio / archives… just to get them started and introduced to the blogging world.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve featured Cathy Badcock, Pamela Dewar, Denise Dejardins, Sandra Bennett, and Melissa Pilon…
Today we’re featuring five photos by our newest Club member, Louise Desrosiers.
Louise currently uses a Nikon Coolpix P500, which comes with a 36x optical zoom. She has taken some courses in photography, including one at the Adult School in Hawkesbury with Cheryl Williams Jean-Louis. She also trained with local photographer, and teacher, Nik Schnell which consisted of ten theoretical courses and four practical classes.
“I have learned a lot from him.”
“I have been taking pictures for a very long time, using all kinds of cameras. It’s one of my biggest passions. I would still love to take some more photography courses, I think there is always something to learn and room for improvement that is why I would love to be part of the Club — to try and get together with other photographer to learn new tips.”
That’s what we’re here for, Louise. Well, that and the drinking. Thanks for the wonderful shots, and welcome to the Club.
